About Us

Founded in 1998 by director Sarah Singleton, Step-Up was conceived in response to an overwhelming need for administrative and bookkeeping services in Melbourne’s growing hospitality sector. In 2001 Step-Up won a Small Business Development expansion grant from the City of Melbourne, and since then, Step-Up has grown and has come to provide bookkeeping services to an array of small to medium sized businesses in a number of varied industries.

Our clients share a common goal of wanting to meet the demands of today’s business environment in the most effective, efficient and technologically progressive way. At Step-Up we are committed to materialising this goal and therefore offer the most advanced and streamlined bookkeeping, payroll and administrative services available.

Regularly attending training seminars, the Step-Up team keeps up-to-date with legislative revisions, software updates and other changes that affect our clients. For many clients we further offer a “one-stop-office”, where we perform all the bookkeeping, payroll and general clerical services a business may require.

Sarah Singleton is both an MYOB Certified Consultant and a LEAP Accounting Certified Consultant. She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians Australia.
